yea i stopped lifting really heavy.. i usually squat really heavy and other things but ive stopped and doing alternative things. I just wanna keep some strength . Due to.my " bmi " is high according to my height. But its really because of my muscle.. imma have to talk to my dr. Because although my weight is higher i dont even look much different since ive been working out during the pregnancy .
I know that you can continue anything as long as you stay away from jumping/jostling exercises and bending in half or laying on your stomach types of lifting/exercises after a certain point in pregnancy... Not quite sure when though.
thank ladies. Imma talk to him at my next appt. But thats till end of jan lol.
well im not lifting heavy anymore.. because when i say i lifted weights a lot it was a lot. I know less stress on your back so i cut that out but yea i heard yoga and swimming is good. I dont wanna over do it tho. Since im still not showing.and im having to each a than im normally use to. But thanks :) i walk on incline at 3.5 to keepy muscle mass for 30 mins daily and i do strength stuff but def will try so yoga. I use to do hot yoga amd loved it so regular yoga should be good :)
Well actually if u were that active u should be able to continue as long as your body was use to it but of course talk to your dr before.
well my doctors have said you can continue to do anything you have been doing before you got pregnant just not lifting too much weights. I did zumba and yoga. yoga is amazing!!! also did akkot of treadmill walking & swimming is the best pregnancy excersize there are even little swimming aerobics classes you can take. I would def recommend swimming and prenatal yoga. and continue with what you have already been doing. just dont do more than your body can handle. listen to your body.
