has an anyone had to wait til 5 or 6 weeks along til they got a pos test?!

I hear alot of people dont test pos til 5 weeks cause of low hormones? Or I hear it takes awhile in some women ?

my last period was july 29th, I ovulated aug 9th-15th & now my period is a week late. Ive had cramping & all the signs . I took a test when I was 3 days late & it was neg. Im scared to test again because we really want a baby :( is it possible I did test too early & has anyone ever teste neg until about 5 or 6 weeks? Thanks !

Try going and getting a blood test! My local health department offers them, I would see if your local health department or something similiar offers it. They are the most accurate, sometimes the hcg hormone can take awhile to get to the urine. A blood test will tell you for sure
