OK, well an app can only help if you have absolutely regular cycles. It can't tell you if or when you ovulate, and it's ovulation that triggers periods. Without knowing when/if you ovulated, you can't know if your period is actually 'late' or your just having a long cycle for some reason.
No, never felt the need to. I just know that I'm late and it would just be nice to know what's really going on. Guess I might find out in the morning at my doctors appointment

I track my cycles with an app so I know when I'm supposed to start and everything. This is my first time ever being 28 days late like this.
It sounds like your cycles are all messed up which might explain why you're now having a long cycle. If your test tomorrow comes back negative, I'd suggest tracking your ovulation from now on so you have a better idea if what's going on.
