Confused on positive results

Okay so I had 3 cycles in about a month, they were all 2 weeks apart. I haven't had a cycle again yet. I'm 28 days late for my cycle and averaging I would be about 8 weeks today since the first day of my last cycle was April 24. I had a blood test done and took several hpts and all are negative. I only sleep a lot and have reoccurring headaches and my nipples itch every now and then but no other symptoms. I have an appointment tomorrow but I'm just nervous. I just have bad cramping but I'm sure the doctor may not due an ultrasound if the test doesn't come back positive. Just need some opinions and advice if possible...thanks

OK, well an app can only help if you have absolutely regular cycles.  It can't tell you if or when you ovulate, and it's ovulation that triggers periods.  Without knowing when/if you ovulated, you can't know if your period is actually 'late' or your just having a long cycle for some reason.

No, never felt the need to. I just know that I'm late and it would just be nice to know what's really going on. Guess I might find out in the morning at my doctors appointment

But do you measure your body temperature?

I track my cycles with an app so I know when I'm supposed to start and everything.  This is my first time ever being 28 days late like this.

It sounds like your cycles are all messed up which might explain why you're now having a long cycle.  If your test tomorrow comes back negative, I'd suggest tracking your ovulation from now on so you have a better idea if what's going on.  Taking Charge Of Your Fertility is an excellent book which explains all about how to track your cycles.
