Could plan b cause a false positive???

I took a plan b pill on june 22 and it made me bleed June 26 for five days. This month i noticed i had been cramping with lots of nausea so i decided to test myself on the 22, their was a faint second line, i tested the 23, abd 24th and they were all faint positives as well. Anyway yesterday i went i the emergency room because my back and stomach have been cramping very bad, after some test the doctor told me that it was too early to detect the baby and that my hcg level was at 275 but that taking plan b could cause a false positive so the only way to tell if i am actually pregnant is to wait 48hrs and if my levels double then everything should be fine since i am not bleeding with my cramps but if they go up slightly i could be having an ectopic pregnancy. I'm just really confused and would really love to hear what you ladies think, i really don't want to loose my baby

I obviously know that, I'm just asking to see if anyone has heard something or experience what i am going through. My husband and i have two kiddos already and we are usually very careful but had a slip up. I have never used the plan b prior but felt kinda pressure to do so. Now that i know I'm pregnant, i would want nothing more then to have my child.

We're not doctors. But,  I wouldn't think it would.

Also, if you weren't trying to lose it, why the plan b?
