Egg white mucus

Hi there.

I had unprotected sex a couple of times around ovulation.
I am due my period in about two day.
I have been getting symptoms, some of which are period symptoms, some apparently pregnancy symptoms.

Today and yesterday I have been having period like cramps, but quite a few sharp pains in my left pelvic area.
Yesterday morning and after I had about 10 minutes of slight nausea, once when I woke up and another time in the car.
I went for a wee today and when I wiped there was a small amount of mucus. It was similar to ovulation mucus but not a nearly as much. It was clear and had a slight stretch to it. Similar to egg whites.

Does this sound like pregnancy or period on its way?

It could just be signs of you period coming.   I wouldn't think other wise until you are actually late

Yes, I have taken a test this morning. But was negative. I am not due on until Friday/Saturday.
I have had the same sexual partner for 4 years so wouldn't have got anything sexually transmitted infections.

I would get checked it shouldn't have a stretch to it at all have u taken a pregancy test ???.
