HELP!!

Can anyone provide clarity?!! We have been TTC and tracking since last month. We had sex on my fertile days and 24 hours later I started bleeding, very spotty and light. It stopped about 48-72 hours later, very spotty. So that means my period came 2 weeks early! My period was due to start on the 14th. My breasts and very tender, yesterday I was at my moms and she made me bbq ribs and I couldn't even finish them before feeling sick, and then I made my famous grape jelly meatballs and everything tastes so bitter! I went to the doctor on April 12th and has a blood test done and it came out negative. I think it was too early to take a test but now that my period is now 4 days later and I am starting to feel some symptoms I am going crazy. I need some help. Anything! When is a good time to take a PG test? Is the first week after having sex considered "1week" PG? The doctor said she tested my blood for estrogen and said quote " your period should be here any day" she said that last Friday! :( I just don't know what to do
