Can a blood test be wrong?

I'm 5 days late and I got a blood test done and it came back negative, I've takin home test and they came back negative also. But I've had some symptoms such as Nausa and mood swings frequent urination and extrem tiredness. What should i do? Could the blood test been wrong?

But is it possible that I ovulated later than I thought because I started stopping today? And maybe I just wasn't far enough along for it to read in my blood but that's what's causing the missing period?

After a missed period it is unlikely that the blood test is wrong, but it is possible. I would wait and see if your period shows up and do another hpt, but blood tests are quite accurate.
