Spotting for 8 days

I've been spotting 8 days and yesterday was the day I hoped I was done but the past 2-3 days it's been going then coming I had unprotected sex on the 29 and I didn't check if I was ovulating or not but my calendar app says I was my last period was started the 19 and ended the 23rd and I took the pill on the 30th still ovulating and my boyfriend said to be safe let's just get the pill and he said he didn't go and I asked him way too many times he said he didn't but the spotting at first was pink then turned red then brown then back red and has stayed red till the 8th and my period was suppose to come on the 8 but still no period I woke up the morning and I just had normal discharge and I'm worried that I didn't get my period and I don't know if I should not expect a period this month or I should till get a period and all the bleeding were really light nothing like my usual heavy periods and idk if I should be worried or just wait it out till next month to expect a period

Everyone is different! If you don't have one this month I'd take a test to be honest but I've used those pills before and have had good luck with them as along as they are taken within 72 hours
