need help figuring out what to do.

so i had a miscarriage almost two years ago. i was on birth control for a year. well my fiance & i ended up taking a break (so much going on) & i kept up wit my birth control. now we're back together & trying to get pregnant again. last month (october) i had my period for only two days, which was weird considering i usually have it for atleast five days. so we took a test, but it came out negative. but this month it did the same thing, except it lasted three days. i don't know what's going on. do i need to go to a clinic & get a test? or should i just let it go.

note: i'm under NO stress!
