The best time to start trying is days 10-14, you count from the FIRST day of your period to day ten and keep trying through day 14.  Usually you ovulate around day fourteen after the FIRST day of your last period.  My sister and her husband tried for a year to get pregnant, and it turned out they were just "doing it" at the wrong time of the months.  I sat down with her and we drew out a chart, one month later she was pregant.  :)

Good Luck!!

If you had sex two days after you period, it's highly unlikely that you are pregnant.

Was the sex unprotected?
