Implantation bleeding 5dpo?

My cycles vary, but usually range from 28-36 days. I definately ovulated on cycle day 19 (8/2/09). My husband and I had sex on cycle day 19 (8/2/09) and cycle day 20 (8/3/09). On cycle day 24 (8/7/09, 5 dpo) I noticed only 2 pinkish spots in my underwear when going to the bathroom, nothing while wiping, and have had no spotting since. I've never had spotting like this before, and have only spotted 1 other time due to birth control years ago. I've taken 2 HPT's over the past two days, both Negative. Had a Serum HCG yesterday, also Negative (which now seems like a waste of a poke since it can't even detect HCG until 12-14 days post conception).

On cycle day 26, my boobs seemed to magically grow almost a 1/2 cupsize. They aren't painful or sensitive. I'm now at cycle day 28. No period. Mild discomfort (low back).

Do any of you experienced women think I might be pregnant? Or is this in my head? This is the first time we've actually tried to conceive, so my fingers are crossed. But I hope my brain and wants aren't overriding my body (if that makes sense).

If I am prego, what dpo would likely be the soonest I'd test positive on a HPT?

GOT MY BFP TODAY (11dpo)!!! Well a VERY FAINT BFP! But, regardless! It's a BFP!

the best time to test would be around 14 dpo, but first response can detect it up to 4 days early so u could try a test now, but remember only about 60% show positive for pregancy 4 days early.
