Being Induced

My due date is tomorrow and at my appointment I still wasn't dilated or anything and still not having contractions so we scheduled an appointment for next week and if I don't go into labor on my own I'm being induced at exactly 41 Weeks May 3rd. I'm a ftm and everyone's telling me I don't wanna be induced because its worse than actual labor. Is that true? People are really scaring me. I don't have a high pain tolerance and they're not being very encouraging :( can someone explain what it was like when they were induced?

Just know that it is a looooooong process. Your body is not prepared for what is to come because if it was it would have done it naturally. Just stay calm and get lots of rest so that when the time comes you are as rested as you can be to do the work necessary!

Its not any different. I had one natural and one induced. Pain was no different.
