27 weeks gain 20lbs bad??? help: (

So this is my fourth baby. Beginning weight 105 and I now weight 125 at 27 week's. So should I be worried? I'm trying to eat healthy, cut back sweets and pop but I feel starved that I cave every now and than. And my other pregnancy app says I'm gaining too much. I just want to be on the right track, gaining too much I heard could hurt the baby because it's unnecessary weight: ( Advice would be appreciated thank you! # feeling eww this week....

Since your starting weight was so small, you're actually recommended to gain more weight. I was 119 with my first and delivered at 153. I had a lot of trouble losing weight due to a Long csection recovery and not being able to breastfeed because of low milk supply and then my milk drying up. I started this pregnancy at 140 and am currently 25 weeks at only 150, so I'm progressing very well considering I started this pregnancy closer to the overweight side for my height. If your doctor hasn't mentioned anything then you're perfectly fine, but usually you only need to worry about gaining too much weight if you're already overweight.

Hun, sounds like you were under weigh at the beginning of your pregnancy. Doctors say if your bmi was below 18 you should gain between 30-45 pounds during pregnancy to ensure the baby is fine.  I wouldn't worry so much about weight gain as long as you feel good, no health issues and more importantly, the baby is growing as expected.

This is my fourth baby also and I am 26 weeks. My pre pregnancy weight was 125 & I am now 146. My doctor didn't say anything about my weight but when I updated it on here it says i am above normal weight range.

My beginning weight was 10 and I'm 30 lbs heavier now so I say yoy have nothing to be worried about at all, it is very normal to gain weight in pregnancy, I feel like a cow compared to you lol so don't think you should be worried about your weight gain it's all a part of being pregnant and Caring for not just yourself but another being.
