bleeding after cervical check?

So I had my 36 week appointment today and the Dr did a cervical check. I went and did a little shopping and got a hair cut and when I got home (3 hours later) my panty liner was more than full of brown blood. Is this normal? I never had bleeding after exams with my first so this is new to me.

I bled for about 3 days I went to the hospital on the 2nd night because I was getting worried. My doc said its normal but if you notice anything excessive I would always call your doc or go in. My bleeding was more of spotting though and when I would wipe.

Definitely normal, if it's red and heavy and lasts awhile I'd start to get concerned but its all stretching down there and it's not what its used to so any irritation to the cervix at this stage in the game can cause bleeding and spotting. Doing the dirty ;) can also cause bleeding now too.

Thanks ladies, it's definitely light and spotty just startled me a bit to see it. My Dr didn't warn me. Now if the cramping would end I'd be in good shape lol
