Ericaponder...that's good to know, I'm not a huge carb eater. I think I'm psyching myself out for the test b.c I don't like to drink stuff for tests. I'm nervous it will taste awful and make me nauseous
AshleyB1221 its not about sugar intake more so carbs. I too thought sugar raise your glucose levels but it's the carbs that cause the spike.
I have gestational diabetes. I'm on medication to keep my sugar levels under control I test 4 times a day and have to watch my carb intake. I can't wait to deliver so this can go away.
I have my test tmr morn, and am so nervous. 1)I am horrible when it comes to drinking things for tests, I hope I can guzzle it down ok and it doesn't taste absolutely horrific. 2) I have always been a candy and sweets eater. I've been cutting back since becoming pregnant for health and everything, but I'm so nervous to have to cut out all sugar from my diet if I fail. I haven't had any signs or symptoms of gd but it's always scary knowing you could still have it
I have taken my 1 hr failed twice sugar level 165 the worst I have is headaches I go in for my 3 hr in the morning.
I have my test next week. Passed with my first test with my first pregnancy so hoping it's the same this time, it's been 9 years tho so my fingers are crossed. Hope everything turns out fine for you! Good luck
