pelvic pain

This is my third child and the first with constant pelvic pain. I honestly don't know what else I can do. My left hip/public bone hurts! It makes walking almost impossible and I climb the stairs like my 75 year old grandma. It doesn't feel like growing pains. I continue to stretch, take baths, and tylenol. Is there anything else I can do? I'm at my breaking point.

I am a physio and the above posts are correct.... it's a normal thing that happens due to laxity of the ligaments. A sacroiliac jt belt can be very useful or taping. Some physio technique can help and it may settle down....maybe....pelvic floor exercises may help, staying symmetrical and using a pregnancy pillow in bed.
Avoid stairs and one sided activities like vacuuming and mopping. Trail a hydrotherapy class as this may be great relief and help settle it down.
If all else fails at least u know u have only another 3 months and it will hopefully just disappear!
Good luck.

I have the same pain, right in the middle of my pubic bone. Dr said it's called PSD where the ligament that connects the front of your pubic bone loosens too much from Relaxin & expands past 5mm. Get a pelvic or pregnancy Binder. They can be found online, at drug stores, and at Baby Stores. Walking and exercise will iritate it, so will heat due to inflammation. Best advice was to take it easy and wear the binder to keep your hips together. Good b luck!

I think the worst part is that it's on my left side. Sleeping on my left is almost impossible because of how much pain I wake up in.

I'm having the same problem. I had an appt yesterday and asked the doctor about it and she said that it's normal and unfortunately there is nothing we can do about it. Only Tylenol :-( I told her I felt it with my first pregnancy but not till I was further along and she said that because this isn't my first rodeo I will feel things sooner. It ssucks... Joys of pregnancy I suppose!
