spotting

I am 9 weeks pregnant with my fourth baby.  When I went to the bathroom this morning there was brown blood on the toilet paper when I wiped.  I know that this is my fourth and I should be a pro by now...but I have never had anything like this, suggestions?

Thank you for all your input.  I did call my doctor and he had me come in to just check things out.  All is good and he said to just take it easier.  I love to have all of you others mom's to reassure me at times like this.  Thank you again!!!

I had a miscarriage for my 1st and this is my 2nd. I'm around as far along as you and had the same and freaked due to my 1st. Myy doc told me its when the placenta is connecting to the uterus wall sometimes blood gets caught in the middle and it needs to do 1 of 3 things.. go into the placenta, go back into your system OR find a way out.. he told me not to lift  more then 25lbs and to take it easy till it stops (and it has) and no sex for 2 weeks thats also my next appointment.. we were also able to hear heartbeat for re assurances

I know exactly what your going through!  Pregnant with my 4th too. Ive had brown discharge off and all week. Nurse tile me, no sex until it has completely stopped for 3 days. No lifting of any kind, until its been gone for a few days unless necessary. The cervix because irritated and it causes the discharge when your body is over worked. You need to rest and relax more :) no cramping Orr red blood you should be good!

If it hast continued I wouldn't worry about it.  Of course the best thing you can do is call and atleast speak to a nurse to reassure yourself.  But I'd say don't worry about it if it was just that once!
