I swelled at the end of my first pregnancy. Putting my feet up was the only thing that would help. You could try compression stockings. I stand for 12 hour shifts for my job as well,so I feel your pain. My right thigh also goes numb and has pain. Your hips are shifting into position for delivery may be pinching a nerve. I go to a chiropractor, which helps a little for it. I can't stay on 1 position for too long, whether it is standing, sitting, or laying because of it.
when you are home resting prop your legs up with apillow under them. as warm a bath as you are able to make get epsom salt and warm water And soak your feet. self massaging or having someone massage them for you might help. and try to not eat anything with salt... my feet got so swollen in my last pregnancy i couldnt wear shoes or socks the socks cut into my feet so bad and the shoes never fit i even tried putting on mens shoes (didnt happen)and walking anywhere was horrible. the sidewalks felt like they cut into my feet and so did the grass... as soon as the baby is out it may take a few days for it to fully go down but it will happen.
Do it if your joints can take it*** Idk why but this app always adds or messes up my posts
I had this with my 2nd. And it was really bad. I tried the whole putting my legs up, massaging, parsley foot soak. It didn't help. Your almost there. Mine didn't go away till I had the baby.I retained so much I even ended up incontinent from my body holding so much in that it was Constantly flushing it's self out. Walking helped me a little but do in contact if your joints can handle it I made myself take the pain and walked as much as I could. I had a office sit down job which didn't help. Also try diabetic socks those gave me some relief
