stomach size

So I have always been small waist big butt girl and ever since i got preggo I've gotten a little thicker in the thighs and a lil round belly but everyone keeps commenting saying I'm so small, I'm pretty small to be having a girl or when I tell them I'm pregnant I get "where?" And I'm 7 months with my first I'm just wondering was any one else smaller than the " average" pregnant women. PS when I see my doctor she says my weight gain is normal the baby measures out to her exact week and heart beat is normal. I'm sure if they think the are complimenting me but they are really kinda concerning me. Is something wrong with me? Is something wrong with my baby? Am I not doing something right in this pregnancy??

It's ok to be smaller doesn't mean anything is wrong with you or your baby some womam just carry the baby better then others. We always think e have to blow up huge to have healthy babies that's not the case you can have a basketball size tummy a perfectly healthy baby. But also know just because you carry smaller doesn't mean that baby isn't pushing on you or causing you lack of sleep or whatever other woman problems are.  Be happy that your not huge means you'll get your body back faster ;)

Same! 33 weeks and everyone says I look 4 months pregnant! Baby measures perfect and I have gained 11kg!! I feel big and heavy, but does not seem to show. I do hear that we'll grow much more in the last month, so not fretting.
Silver lining- hopefully the bounce back is easier!

Ive been getting the same response from others! My midwife told me my baby girl is sitting further back which is why my belly is so small. Im 30 weeks and everything is normal.  Im also tall (5'9) so that evens out my weight

I had a friend who was getting the same comments from people and it really upset her and made her worry, but baby was perfectly healthy. Where as I get the complete opposite and constantly get told just how massive I am, how big my bum had got and am I having twins, this worries and upsets me, but I know that baby is healthy and my measurements are on track. Try to take what people say with a pinch of salt, and be reasured by the knowledge that both you and baby are fine and that everyone's body is different, pregnant or not!

You are totally normal. As ajadams207 says every woman carries different and typically with your first you may not be as big with as with subsequent pregnancies. No worries at all!
