I have been having them alot, too. This is my 4th child, so it seems like it may have something to do with that?? I don't remember feeling them with my first, or maybe I just didn't know what they were.
Anyway, these are stronger, more frequent, and I wouldn't say painful, but uncomfortable at times.
Let us know what your doctor says?!!
Haha! That made me laugh this morning:=)
Thanks everyone. I am just nervous cuz they are making me so uncomfortible. I never really noticed them before this pregnancy and with this one I notice everytime. I have my doctors appt this morning so i am going to bring it up to her and see what she says. Thanks again I am probaby freaking out for nothing.
Blueeyedtabbycat- let's see which one of us tips over first...haha
About 2 weeks ago I had the same problem. I was having major BH all day long. Being that this is my 4th child they have gotten painful! I have never went into early labor so I really freaked out. After 2 days they stopped and now I have only gotten a few a day. I know that BH and slowly help you dialate. I have always been at 5 cm or more when I go into labor so its scary not knowing if its real or not. If this had been my first pregancy and BH woulda felt like this I woulda been in the hospital for every pain, lol.
i had a bc before but they gone. i just spoke about them today with my dr and she told me that as long they dont last long and its not to many its ok:) good luck
In our Lamaze class they tell us that for the Braxton Hicks contractions to drink water, change your position such as if you are walking to lay on you left side or if you are laying down to get up and walk and if they stop then they are Braxton Hicks contractions. I don't necessarily know if it means that you are going to go into early labor. Our Lamaze teacher tells us that they are called practice contractions so you could have a few in an hour. Braxton Hicks are just a tightening of the stomach but if they are true contractions then they will go from the back to the front or from the front to the back. I hope this helps
