Ultrasound update

Hi all, just thought i'd let you know that i went for a ultrasound yesterday at 31 weeks and everything is looking good. It was so cute we even saw the baby yawn. At my 20 week scan baby had fluid on its kidneys and yesterday they said they're still a bit inflamed but the fluid pockets haven't haven't growen any since the 20 wk scan and that's good since the kidneys themselves have growen.
Baby is weighing approx 3lb 3oz at the moment. Next week i have a specialist appointment as they are just checking up on women who have previously had smaller babies. But all is looking good. Now i can't wait for him or her to arrive.

Oh thanks!!    My perinatalogist is scaring me....they say the baby, yesterday, at 30w6d weighed 2lbs 14oz.   That's just about 5 oz smaller than your baby.   I don't know maybe 5 oz is a big difference.    But she gained 14 oz since her last visit, so I thought that was pretty good in 3 weeks.

The technician lady that did the scan said that it was about normal size for 30 week but i will know more next week when i see the specialist and see if she is worried about the size of the baby. I'll keep you all posted on how the appointment goes.

Thats good to hear!! I thought that babies around 30 should be around 3 pounds. It sounds like your little one is about right:)

Is your baby small for gestational age???  Mine is,..just curious.  I believe they will  do growth scan on me today and today I'm 30w6d.  I am interested because my baby weight just under 2lbs last growth scan which was 3 weeks ago.

Thanks for that. I'm glad they're keeping an eye on me and hopefully i'll get to go for more ultrasounds and see our baby again (although they're now to big to see anything).

good to hear , isnt it amazing how the babies changed from 0wks ultrasound:) they look like babies now:) Good luck with the appointment
