1st Trim Screen/NT Scan Today and....

... everything looks great! Of course we have to wait for the bloodwork to collaborate that, but the tech said there's a fully visible nasal bone and nuchal thickness looks VERY normal, etc etc... so that's a huge relief for us... We got some good pics as well. I posted one in my profile... Hope everyone else is doing well!? :)

Hi. It's a really neat u/s. My youngest is 8, so I didn't get u/s's like that when she was born. They were just the regular ol 2d i guess. So it was really cool to see the new technology at work... I thought I was 11.5 weeks, but she dated me at 12 weeks 2 days and EDD 8/10/09, which is a week earlier than what I thought I was - which is also cool! haha Good Luck with yours and let us know how it goes.... :)

my scan is next thursday...i hope things go as well as your did! my doctor is all about determining gender early - and the earliest he'll send people is 15 weeks...and he's fully confident about the accuracy at that point - how far along are you?

I know! My husband and I were REALLY hoping they could ATLEAST give us a hint, and we're also convinced she KNEW and would just not tell us because they've had complaints in the past(perhaps they were wrong on a few?). At any rate, she would not budge even the slightest bit on the gender. I was a little disappointed to be honest, but oh well, it gives me something to look forward to for my next few appts I guess...

Congrats!  I guess they couldn't give you any indication of a boy or girl?  I always hope there is just some way they can tell early LOL!  Take care!
