Bck pain in first trimester

I have been experiencing really bad back pain on the left side of my lower back for a couple of days and am getting really worried. I am just over 9 weeks pregnant. Is this normal?
It hurts more when I sit down and stand up. I did walk for over two hours when I went shopping a few days ago and it seems to have taken effect since then. I only pray it is because of the walking, as I read somewhere that backache is also associated with the dreaded 'm'. No other probs - still have my nausea/sickness/fatigue and oh yes - now I am getting nose bleeds too and have a stuffy nose! Anyone else experiencing back pains?

Ladies
I think I have posterior pelvic pain as it is now also hurting right inside my bottom and top of left thigh. Apparently this can begin as early as week 8 and is triggered off by walking/climbing stairs etc.
I have an appointment with the midwife tomorrow so will mention.

I've been having off and on back pain, but it's on the side with my herniated discs and my surgery.  I've been equating to not sleeping well (we were out two weekends in a row, not sleeping on my own bed), being more bloated, and hormones.  Tylenol has been my friend.  I was on it prior to getting pregnant, and actually tried to decrease it, but I was unable because my back started acting up more.

I went to the mall around 3 weeks ago and did alot of walking and felt fine, but that night starting having back pain, (this was before I went back to the dr. and realized there was a h/b and everything was fine) but I was convinced that it was the start of the m/c they said I had.  I also find I think I walk different while trying to get used to my belly.  I am used to trying to keep my belly nice and tight (a trainer at my gym a while back told me to always suck in) now I find it weird to carry that extra weight and it is not yet natural, so I find myself feeling awkward when I walk for a while.

I have heard of a stuffy nose and nose bleeds during pregnancy as well.  Do you have some pregnancy books other that the "what to expect..."  I have a really good one that goes into alot of the little details...
When is your next appointment?  I hope everything is OK and think if you may be walking just a little different than you normally would have...just a thought :)  Good Luck!
