Backache / Cramps during pregnancy - Is this normal?

I am 5 weeks pregnant (from IVF with ICSI) and I'm taking progesterone vaginal pessaries and I'm still experiencing period like symptoms, intense burning backache, stomach cramp and leg cramps which I have had all the way through so far - is this normal and has anyone else felt like this or still feels like this now?

I am 5 weeks along as well and I am experiencing cramping and light spotting, nothing bright red at all so I guess it's ok. I am alos glad to hear someone else is going through that because I am freaking out. I will know more after my HCG test this afternoon.

Sorry to hear that your suffering, my symptoms are quite mild at the moment, I've had no headaches and no sickness at all yet - is this a good / bad sign?! Help...

Right now backache, cramps and AWFUL (and i mean really, really AWFUL nausea inducing) headaches. Last night I put my 15 month old daughter to bed at 8:30 and then I went to sleep. Tylenol just doesn't cut it with my headaches! I'm also super tired all the time.

that's how i was with my first pregnancy - i think i drove my doctor nuts for the first 8 week telling him that i felt like i was going to get my period.  i had AWFUL backache, and cramps...but I made it through...I think that it's normal.  i am 4w3d now and again feel like i'm going to get my period anyday!
