First U/S

Question

Hi everyone, today I've had my first u/s and we're having 'TWINS'!! I saw both heart beats and they pointed out the spinal cords, it was amazing, I'm still in shock. We've got a pic of them.

I've got a second u/s in two weeks, it's New Years Eve, 9:10 am, they should have grown a lot more by then...

My edd is the 15th August but with it being twins, the nurses don't think I'll go full term, perhaps they'll be July babies, just as long as they don't arrive any sooner than that.

Hi, thanks everyone, that's so kind!!

I'm 6 weeks 3 days today, didn't know what to expect at the first u/s, my pregnancy symptoms are quite strong now, I've really started with the sickness, general horrible smells a lot worse than normal, it is generally these smells that make me gip / sick!! Was really suprised when they said you've got twins!!

I know it's double trouble and it's going to be very tiring but it's a very made family so we're over the moon, just need to keep them in there now until the end of the pregnancy.

We get our due date on the second u/s on News Years Eve, 9:10 am.

Congrats on your twinkies!!! Sending you lots of baby dust and sticky thoughts and prayers. I know that 2 week wait is a monster but it is finally here and what great news you have. Just get plenty of rest because it sounds like you and DH are going to need it! :)
