when can i take rest

my due date by ultrasound scan is sep 23rd. my due date by last menstrual date is sep 15th. i'm working as a professor . so when can i take rest? i'm eligible to claim 3 months maternity leave.so give u'r advice.

I personally worked until two days before i had both of my 1st two, that way i could spend alot of time with them after pregnancy... but its really a presonal preference.
if u can tolerate it i would work but if u cant or have some things ud maybe like to get done that havnt been done yet than take off early!

Most people work as long as possible so that they can have most of their leave after the baby is born. But, talk to your Dr. He might want you out at a specific time. I'm due 8/20 and plan on working until 36 weeks if I can but I don't get paid leave so I don't have a time frame.

my doc has my due date at 8/28 but scan shows 9/1. Im going by 8/28 for work because i want to get off earlier :) You doctor may have to fill out paperwork for your leave so it could depend what they go by.
