I just got put outta work on Friday yeppie!!!! Was tired of workn anyway now I can rest n relax when I need to and do things around the house that I've been puttn off for months.... I don't need to rush now can take my time n get things done.... Just emptied one of my daughters toy boxes n threw things out.... Suppossed to do it n jan lol!!! I still gotta get my lil prince room ready my husband wants it ready by July....Trust you will find things to do to keep u busy...I'm Due in August also. But time will fly by b4 we know it.
I am also into the full bed rest since last 3 weeks.
I'm also getting bored with no activity. Sometimes I get kicks on the stitch part, that makes me more tensed. This is my 23rd wk.
I am from India.
Thank you all for your suggestions, I went and bought some yarn and start crocheting my baby girl some blankets and maybe some hats and booties! I'm a newbie at crocheting so it should take me some time to do, haha. And no I didn't have any contractions this pregnancy nor my last, my cervix just shortened both times. I guess they told me my cervix is some weird name that I can't remember and that's why my cervix shortens. I do know I have an incompetent cervix so that's part of why it shortened. I just hope these stitches keep it shut for a while longer !
I was on bed rest with my first and highly recommend knitting or crocheting. Also Netflix and reading. I think I watched all of Netflix.
I agree with the crocheting, i wish i had time to learn how to make the cute little flower hats & booties that i see on youtube videos. Also my mom used to make our clothes when we were kids, so i always thought it would be fun to try sewing. You can get a used sewing machine for cheap at the goodwill and walmart has cheap patterns & fabrics (or your mom or a friend could go out and get the things for you). Maybe you could even make matching dresses for your girls :) good luck
Were you having contractions? Im getting nervous because I think I have been having them. I have my anatomy scan on Tuesday and they want me to have a vaginal one to make sure the cervix isnt shortening! As far as what to do, how about puzzle books, or book series......even tv show series...start a new one, a long one like greys anatomy or lost....I will be praying for you!
Thank you!!! I may start making little hats and blankets for baby girl! I'm 22 weeks today so I'm hoping she stays in there! Thanks again for your suggestions!!
I'm praying for u and ur baby!! Finding something constructive to do while being on bed rest would b a lil difficult. Maybe take up sewing or crocheting? Make the baby something? I know it sounds like a granny thing to do but hey at least it will keep u busy and u will b doing something for the baby. Look up cute ideas on pintrest for little things to do maybe. Sorry u have to b on bed rest but a healthy baby is the most important thing! I had my son at 25 wks. I get my cervix checked as well and am hoping it doesn't Start shortening. I wish u all the best and a big healthy baby!!
By the way I'm going to be 22 weeks on Friday. So 8 more weeks until I'm 30 weeks!! I hope she stays in there!!
