stressed

How do you keep stress low at work? I'm trying not to get overwhelmed and stressed out, but I work with women who seem to constantly be giving me a hard time and stirring up drama. They know I'm pregnant. I know it's best to ignore, but my hormones just want to scream.

I teach high school, so I know all about stress.  I've been practicing breathing techniques as often as I can.  It's something that has helped me over the years to control my emotions (anger, frustration, sadness).  It's still, thankfully, helping now that I am pregnant.  I also meditate using the Chakra method when I feel like I've had a rough day.

It really is tough.. I'm forced to speak with them as I'm a speech therapist and they work in the special education classroom, so it's hard to escape. I guess the best thing would be to avoid avoid much as possible and talk to administration.

Working with woman ***** so bad, Im sorry....I also work with drama filled woman who literally have nothing better to do. Ignore them. I try not to speak or look at them and honestly I have never felt better. Hope you find a way to ignore their petty crap! :) lol

Write it all out in a journal,  catch an extra hour or two of sleep, keep a yummy treat in your bag and escape to the bathroom to indulge when things get crazy. High school never seems to end ;)
