More than likely you are experiencing implantation bleeding.  Its not a bad thing.  The brown blood is 'old' blood and its Ok as well.  You may possibly experience some light spotting if you have sex too.  I just went thru this a few weeks ago.

If the bleeding increases for any reason I encourage you to go to the dr anyway.

Im glad to hear its all fine!! The sex thing is personal....if you dont feel comfy dont do it I say.  But my dr has assured me its totally fine and wont cause any harm.  But like you said you can always fool around other ways :-) Keep in touch.

If you dont have insurance there are always lower cost places that can help you out. Planned Parenthood does full prenatal care including sonograms on a sliding scale.

I know in our area there are a bunch of pro-life Christian places that do testing/early sonograms for you as well.

You could check out the health dept in your area too. If you qualify for any sort of medical card, you can go to the doctor and they cant just back-date your medical card.

I am a nurse now, but I was a struggling single parent for years and years - had a medical card with my other kids and was on public aid to get me through college. Fortunately I did it and have done well now. Along the way though I learned that there's always a way to get what you need regardless of money,

Now in the EMergency Dept I try to help those who fall through the insurance cracks figure out how to get the medical care they need for a price they can afford!
