Bleeding with Normal Vaginal birth with episiotomy

Right after delivery I was bleeding normally doctors said. When first coming home I was bleeding red slimey blood now 4 weeks after delivery I am bleeding like a heavy period with some blood clots that are worrying me a little. Should I get checked out or is this somewhat normal??

The same thing just happened to me today! I'm also 4 weeks post pardum. I was down to just pinkish discharge until a couple of ho
urs ago when i started bright red bleeding again and passed a clot the size of a grape! If I'm still bleeding somewhat heavy tomorrow, I'll probably call the nurses line at my obgyn's office and ask about it. Did your bleeding go back down?

I'm back to just light bleeding/spotting today...not sure what caused the episode last night.
