I don't know anymore

I had a quick u/s today, mine 20/21 week u/s is next week. I asked the nurse about he sex of my child, she said, "it might be a boy". Its either a boy or not. I want a girl but will welcome another boy. Boys have penis, its either she saw a baby penis or not, she pissed me off today. I'm still playing the boy or girl guessing game. I just need any type of feedback.

Thank you all. I schedule the anatomy scan for Wednesday At 8am before work. I hope the little one will allow the tech to see something, because I need to start buying some clothes and stuff. I wish my scanner was working so I could post the pic for people to give feedback.  I have calm down now and waiting patiently. Thanks a million for everyone feedback.

She can't give you a definite answer if the baby is not cooperative.  That's why the anatomy scan is the best time to find out, it's a long u/s and the tech has plenty of time to wait for baby to open it's legs and get a real clear shot.  With a short scan there is not much opportunity to get a good look, and there are different factors that can affect the ability to see for sure.  I'd rather wait the week and get a definite answer then be told one sex only to find out it's the other.

Can you go somewhere else and get another ultrasound?  Surely that nurse should know it's not cool to mess around like that.  I have seen some other womens' posts on here saying that they went to an independent place and had a 3D or 4D ultrasound done.  They have to pay out of pocket, though.

I am sorry she didn't say positive boy or not. I hate that. Some people just don't understand how long we wait and wonder about the baby an for her to give a short ans. like that (what the h*&%). I hope you find out soon try not to worry. I have two boys myself and I am hoping for a girl we find out Aug 4th! Good luck keep us posted!
