that is odd, there are other things that just makes my want to yack thinking of, like pork, chocolate, eggs, and of course the milk. thank goodness i can still eat my friut love fruit. the olny other thing i can think of it this baby is baby like daddy " very stubborn" must be a girl lol jk. i ll let everyone know what the dr says next week. defently has my couriousity.
I am having the opposite effect with dairy with my pregnancy. Before getting pregnant, I was beginning to develop lactose intolerance, I think, because if I had cereal or milk, especially first thing in the morning, it would give me a tummy ache, but since being pregnant, milk doesn't bother me at all! Isn't that crazy? However, I don't like eating many vegetables anymore - so that isn't good.
thank you for your responce's yeah this one is new too me and i know some pregnancy are diffrent from the other, mikaleen thats a great idea though ill talk to the dr, pending my RH screeen, i hope it is something easy to fix and not a whole pregnancy thing this would make it miserable, ill keep people up too date on this one, it is crazyness or it could just be a first trimester thing who knows. my apt is next friday so i hope to have some answers then, thank you both again and have a wonderful week.
Hey.
Every pregnancy is different when it comes to symptoms, and lactose intolerance is just one of the symptoms that can change from pregnancy to pregnancy. Last pregnancy I couldn't eat meat, this one I can't drink juice. Your body reacts differently each time (which is odd) but it's common for pregnancy hormones to cause an intolerance to lactose. Ask your Dr. if you can take acidophilis (sp?) pills, I had a friend who got so ill every time he ate dairy, but the acidophilis helps the body break down the lactose, so he would take one a few hours before he ate dairy.
I have not ever had this problem. But I know pregnanacy can do some CRAZY :) things and all of them are differant. I am going to say that the baby might be lactose tolerant. Which real stinks I know I love my dairy too, so it would be hard. I know foods that I love to eat before I cant touch now because it makes me sick like Mexican.
But you never know you may be able to eat and drink drairy in the 2nd trimester.
Maybe your doc will know more for you on your next visit.
Good Luck! Let me know what he says.
