Braxton Hicks feel like your tummy gets really tight/hard for a few seconds. U can even put your hand on your tummy & it will feel hard/tight to the touch.  They're very similar to real contractions, just NO WHERE near as strong & they don't last as long. They're uncomfortable.  If u move or re-situate it will usually make it stop (it does mine). They happen on & off.  It could happen one day then not happen again for a few days. It's your body/muscles preparing itself for labor but it's not a sign that labor is about to happen!

I'm 33 weeks and mine are so strong I had to talk to my midwife about it, she checked my cervix to make sure I'm not dilating, and luckily I'm not, however she explained that what the Braxton hicks is don't is getting my body ready for birth
