@zeecee usually the safest way is c-section for a breech baby and some states require it.

I'll be 34 weeks tomorrow, due December 1st & my daughter is also breech. She's butt down but the doctors say they don't worry about it til about 36 weeks. So hopefully she turns on her own. But the baby is comfortable so no worries.

Does a breech baby have to be born through cesarean delivery? Or has there been natural breech births?

I am due December 5 with my little girl, I'm 33 weeks today. She is also in the breech position or lays sideways in a transverse lie. She's never been head down. I was told by my doctor that at 36 weeks, if she hasn't turned head down, my doctor is going to try an external inversion. Which is basically a shot to relax your uterus muscles enough for the doctors to turn your baby from the outside. It hurts, from what I hear, but as long as I don't have to have a c-section, I'll be happy :)

It usually turns around plenty after 20 weeks because it isn't too big yet. At my 28 week checkup my baby's head was down. And therefore i was surprised to hear that the head is up now at 33 weeks. It's getting really big and i feel like there's no room for it to move anymore!

When i had my anatomy scan at 20 weeks my lil girl was in the breech position. I will be 30 weeks tomorrow.  My ob is suppose to check her position later and i hope she has turned as i really dont want a cesarean.  I haven't had an ultra sound since but i was told babys move a lot. I hope mine is head down in time.
