Castor oil

Hey mommies! How long after taking castor oil can contractions kick in? ( if it works ), I'm 39 weeks + 3 days, and I took 2 tablespoons last night at 3am , been with diarrhea until right now

It worked for me with my first pregnancy, however this one is a lot harder, I'm glad it worked for you tho! Congrats !! I can't wait til it's my turn! My due date is on Wednesday

Ended up having my baby boy early this morning!!!!!! :D He was completely healthy & I delivered him with a natural vbac (had a csection with my daughter) because by the time I got to the hospital his head was right there haha. LABOR WAS SUPER FAST! Only 10 minutes of pushing! & IT DIDN'T HURT NOT EVEN AS HALF AS BAD AS I IMAGINED IT WOULD. I was also taking evening primerose oil everyday orally 3 times a day so I think that helped my labor process as well as drinking red raspberry leaf tea so that helped a lot with my labor. But I know it was the castor oil that actually made me go into labor.

I'm 38+4 nd I have a doctor's appointment on tuesday,  imma ask of I can take it and how much if so.... I'm ready too pop

You should have read up on castor oil. Making you have diahreah can cause your baby to bowl and cause your child to be very, very sick. Although it doesn't happen with everyone babies have even passed away because of the infection the can receive from that.

I took 3 caps full because I could not find a table spoon. I'm still having pretty crazy contractions so it's definitely doing something for me.

I worked out a lot afterwards & took a hot bath. I got so sleepy I took an hour nap. I'm about to get get up & workout some more. I'm feeling it working so I'm going to help my body keep making process.

Yea my diarrhea stopped but I haven't had any contractions at all, it worked my first pregnancy, I guess it's not gonna work for this one because I feel perfectly fine now

I just took some castor oil today as well. My godmother told me I shouldn't feel anything crazy until 6 to 8 hours from now.
