I got induced on Monday at 9am they started it but i had to be there at 6am and had my son in my arms at 6:19pm that night. It really depends on your body how long it takes
Agreed, it's all about the stage your body is at when they give you the pitocin. Are you dialated at all? Have you effaced at all? Is it your first child, etc etc.
your doctor could be saying that if your body is at "zero" for everything... No worries though, that little one will be here soon!!!

mine took 3 hrs the first time then my other one took 2 hrs
