I just had my baby through caesarian at 32 weeks. I had preeclampsia. For anyone who has had caesarian before, how long did it take before you could poop again?

They gave a stool softener but all it did was give me really bad gas bubbles and after a caesarian it was extremely painful. I did finally go yesterday but that was only after refusing the stool softeners for a day or two.
