When to tell everyone your pregnant?

This is my first pregnancy I'm 5 weeks 4 days. Most of my family lives very far away from me so I decided to announce it I'm going to take pictures and send them. I can't decide when to take them my first doctors appointment is at 10 weeks. I'm debating between taking the pics after the appointment or taking them at 8 weeks telling family then and after the appointment at 10 weeks tell everyone else. What are you girls doing?

I think most people usually announce it after the 12 week mark but obviously everyone is different. I'm on number 5 and my husband and I are keeping it quiet until we have had a scan at 8 weeks then we will tell our parents but everyone else will be told after the 12 week scan. ☺

Hey sweetie I believe I'm 6 weeks but I haven't went to the doctor to confirm yet I go tomorrow but I would definitely wait until I'm 13 weeks to start telling close friends and family

My first child I told my mom  and the father immediately when I found out. This pregnancy I did the same thing lol. I was about 9 weeks. I didn't announce it to everyone else until I was 13 weeks. Because the chance of miscarriage drops down so low after the first trimester.
