Is your partner/husband excited yet?

Just wondering how everyone is going (and if you are getting support).

My husband is very supportive of my need for help, but does not yet seem excited about the impending birth of our daughter.. (his first baby)

I've been wondering when it will seem real/soon/exciting to him, (I can't stand his inexhaustible supply of patience) and how all the other men are behaving.

Is your partner-

Oh, and he is going to take a week off when Daniel comes also.  He's saving up time for it.

My hubby is definetly excited!  He even had a dream that he missed the birth (I guess in the dream I went into labor at night and didn't want to wake him b/c he was sleeping), and he was sad about it :)  but he said our baby was very cute in his dream.  So that's a plus!!!

My husband doesn't really talk about it.  When he does, he seems to be calm and just waiting for it to come really.  Not excited, but not usupportive either...so I just assume he's calm about it.  Probab;ly until the day comes, then he gets excited.  :)

My DH is taking 3 weeks off work when bub comes. I can't wait!! He has been home for 2 weeks over Christmas too, and I almost don't want him to go back to work at all. It is just so nice having him here..

my BF is excited but nervous. He is looking forward to Logan being here but is nervous about all the things that come with having a new baby. He keeps telling Logan to grow nice and big he thinks it would be good if he was like 8+ lbs. I keep telling him he is crazy lol.

my fiance is so excited and keeps telling Jaedyn to come soon. I keep yelling at him telling him Jaedyn is still too small to come and pretty much he is not done cooking yet.  I make myself laugh because i picture a turkey popper everytime i say he is not done cooking yet.

But the fiance is more than excited.

is anyones DH or fiance going to be staying home with them for like a week when the baby is born?  my fiance is laid off right now because he is in roofing/constrcution and that is a little slow with the economy so he will be home for the first few weeks with me and jaedyn.

My husband has had to deal with this rough pregnancy his own way, but now he is definately impatient. We finally have everything we need so it is right there in his face. This baby doesn't have his own room as he is our 5th kid total (my 4th) and they are occupying all the rooms right now! That means all the baby stuff is in our room. We made a section of our closet for him with all his clothes haning up, the pack n play is set up in our room, the swing is in the living room, the rocker is in our room, the car seat is in the car and we got Soooooooooomany pkgs of diapers at the shower they are all over the closet too. Everywhere he looks there is something baby but no baby yet. He can't wait till mr man comes to play so he is definately impatient!!
