It's a girl!!!!

We found out yesterday we are having a girl!!  So all the predictions from family members, friends and even the old wives tales were all right :)  Everything looked good, except I was so excited to see everything I forgot to even ask the babies current weight and length.  My husband is in a little shock, because he has so many boys in his family he thought he would produce one also.  I know he is definitly happy and she will have him wrapped around her finger, but I explained to him that we will have more and hopefully we will have a boy - but it's up to him, LOL.  We are going to name her Mikayla - but the spelling I'm still debating on.  For a middle name we have Joanne, after my deceased grandmother, however we didn't really spend much time thinking about minor details until we knew for sure what we were having.  OK so add me to the girl's list!!

I would have been happy either way, but his family was ready for a girl since the past few babies have been boys.  Hubby wanted a boy because the babies cousins will be all close in age, but I said now they can be her little protectors!  But I know he is happy.

HAHA, thats funny atlantisea, i was so excited and so busy with everyone calling me and me calling them, i went straight home, then once my dh got home, tried to talk him in to heading over to babies r us to get the first outfit but he wouldnt so were going today!! i already seen it the other day.....i cant wait!! so another girl!! they are catching up fast!! my hubby is through the roof about our boy, my fil goes, good girl, you did good!! its so amazing!!

Thanks! Yes!! I went to Target right after becuase I had seem some cute onezies on sale and I already knew which ones I wanted if it wa a girl or a boy.  I ended up getting 4 onezies, a sweater/jacket and a cute little tank top for $8!  Hubby laughed when I showed him but then told me I'm such a bargain shopper :)  We also have one of my friends living with us for a few months and she surprised us with a couple outfits, hair clips and shoes in our bedroom when we got home, surrounded by pink balloons.  But I know I will get tons of clothes at my baby shower pus hand-me-downs from friends so I'm not too concerned about clothes - I just had to buy something now that I know what it is!
