I would like to continue the trend of middle names being family names too. My stepson middle name is his great grandfathers middle name, and my sons middle name is my fathers name (which ironically is also my borthers, a cousin and my godfather's name LOL). I am hoping the names get decided soon. I was thinking Alexander Steven after my hubby and then either Ethan Paul after my dh father who we just met the other day or Ethan Thomas after an uncle of mine who passed away when I was very young, I suppose Alexander Paul or Thomas would work too depending on what hubby's opinion was! It was alittle sad learning that my name (as well as my sister & brother) are not "after anyone" but my parents loved them and that is what matters most.
I agree names are so important and although I may tend to dwell on it a little much you never get a second chance to give your child the most perfect name. I even named one of the babies we lost during the first m/c, I hadn't named the second at this point - just haven't found the right one yet!!
We are naming our boy Zechariah but will him Zach for short. Dakota is nice, or Cody. A friend of mine named their son Josiah, and another has an Arion, and an Asher. I like different names. My sons are Lennie, and Daniel.
Our son is Zechariah Elio Gomez. Elio is our MIL's brothers name who passed this year. Anthony is nice and Antonio. you caould aslo go with Zachery. There are so many names that I usually pray about it and go with what God gives me. For a middle name it is usually a family name. Lennie is named after my husband, Daniel is the name God gave me, and his middle is Charles after my dad, Briana (my oldest daughter) is a name I really liked, and Marie (her middle name) is after my closest Aunt. My younest daughter, Tabbitha, is another name God gave me from reading the bible, and her middle name, Jo, is her grandma's middle name. This will be my husband's and I first child together. I had 3 when we got married and he had 1.
Names are inportant so pray about it with your husband and see where God leads you!
Good luck....
I like Greer but I am waiting until my husband is offically open to new ideas - meaning that he realizes I am not naming the other twin Eric =-)!!!
what about Kaden or bryson or hum... bridger, payton, jackson, jaymon, tanner,Tayler, nick. there are a couple I hope that helps
I like the name Greyson. Its different. We are having a girl and we are going to name her Leanne (which is a combo of the grandmothers middle names). Hubby and I are having a disagreement regarding the first name. I like Veronica (its my mother's name) or Shannon Leanne (shannon is my mother in law's maiden name). He doesn't like either.
So, what I will probably do is name her Leanne Denise. Denise is my middle name. I haven't suggested this yet. But if my hubby has something against my name, I will have to remind him that our son is name after him. So i have every right to name our daughter after me. LOL!! Wish me luck.
I asked him about Gregory and he said no too. I liked Evan but he liked Ethan better which i was happy about but now when I suggest it he claims he is not sure he likes it. I proposed Hudson last night and he was like 'there was this movie I saw that I hated so that name is a no' and I was like' who cares - I have never even heard of that movie!!! Anyways, I agree with Hope to one day: we should have the final say, plus you would think that because there are two (lucky us) we should each get to name one right?!?!? Jack is cute but my stepson is having a brother too (October) and his name is going to be Jake I think!
Ugggh LOL
What about Greg? It is similar to Greyson, but 'normal'.??
we've decided on Emma for our little girl. Now we just need a middle name! We're thinking Rose...
I love the name Greyson! Too bad hubby has to go and ruin it for you! LOL
I've said it, but I'll say it again...I love the name Wade. My hubby hated IT! Why can't men just let the women have the final say? After all, the boy is already going to have their last name. :-)
Plus, we've earned it after carrying it for 10 months and giving birth!
Anyway, as for names, we were going to name a boy Evan James. Evans was my mom's maiden name, and we were going to take the "s" off the end.
I still love the name Evan, though.
I also like the names Jack, Lane (I love Bryson as a middle name with Lane!), and Carter.
That's all I have for you, and I'm sure you probably hate them all. But you asked for it! LOL
