2nd U/S - heartbeat found! 167
I had my second u/s today. Just as a reminder, I had an u/s last week and the fetus measured 6 wks 1 day with no heartbeat detected. Today, the measurements indicated 6 wks 5 dys with a heartbeat of 167! My RE was very happy with the results and is making a referral to an OBGYN at a very good hospital. Both my dh & I were thrilled. This is the first real hurdle. Oh yeah, my official due date is now February 25, 2010. My next u/s is in 2 weeks and then it's onto the nuchial test. So many more hurdles, but I remain positive that this is a strong & healthy baby. I'm off to acupuncture!
congrats. My u/s is tomorrow....same boat..prior one didnt show a heartbeat..so we are hoping to see it tomorrow!
