I'm so glad that your appointment went so well...what great news! As for the 'normal' beta levels...the range is HUGE and I mean HUGE. It's more about them doubling then what they are...some women have had 30's, others have had 1000's...
So, bottom line, don't fret too much about the number, just that it doubles with the second test ;)
by the way... does anyone know what Normal beta levels are for approx 5 weeks??
Dr appt went well!! They did my blood work, so Im anxiously awaiting my beta levels. My EDD is 2/28/10 so they have me estimated at 5weeks 1day, but my cycles are so messed up that they are gonna do an u/s in 2 weeks to confirm dates. Depending on what my levels are tomorrow they might do another beta on Weds. I start progesterone suppositories tomorrow (pharmacy won't have them ready till then) I will take those till approx 12 weeks then I will start 17p shots at 16 weeks. The Dr. said I might not have to have a Cerclage this time so I'm excited about that!! I think they are going to keep monitoring me pretty closely though, sounds like appts at least every 2 weeks for awhile. I really like the new Dr. though so thats good (actually I saw the midwife today and she is great!! The Dr was gone to the hospital delivering my best friends baby!! He was born at 4:55 today!!!)
Update on my beta levels tomorrow! Wish me luck ladies!!
Here's wishing for a happy and healthy 9 months for all of us!!
Good luck it is always so exciting to be able to be seen for the first OB appt. I was not seen until I was over 7 weeks. You are so lucky you get to go in sooner!
