Sleep!?!?!?

Hi everyone im a lil ove 8 weeks now. Is anyone else have horrible time sleeping. For the last week ive only slept like 3 hours a day. Im not keeping my self up worring, it not to hot,.or to cold, im not getting sick and ive tried everything... Warm bath and shower, walks, tea, relaxing. This wouldnt be such a prolem except im working 2 jobs for about 60 a week and go to school 3 nights a week and its really taken its toll. Ive even tried calling off work a couple nighta to get rest but I just lay there either watching tv or staring at the celing or listening to music all night. My boy friend is really starting to stress about me and the baby because of it but im too freaked out to.take any sleeping meds. What sould I do. Any one else javeing this problem?

benadryl and unisom are both safe during pregnancy.. but i would consult with your OB first as theyre all different and yours might see a problem with it... you can never be to safe esp during pregnancy

I am having an issue sleeping, but only because I am already uncomfortable, with the heat, needing a pillow inbetween my knees, etc.

I would suggest talking to your doctor about sleeping pills, as I do not think they would be good to take while you are pregnant.  It also seems to me that you are over working yourself, with the 2 jobs and school.  You are in the early stages of pregnancy my dear... you need to tone it down just a bit and let your body adjust to the changes that are happening to it.

Try taking it easy for a bit, and see how you feel.  If after that you are still not able to sleep I would contact your OB to see if there is anything they can do for you!

Take care!
