I would think if the raccoon didn't have rabies you wouldn't need the shot. But without the raccoon and know testing of it there is no way to tell. That's a tough call. Maybe search VAERS to see. It's where all side effects and fatalities are supposed to be reported when a vaccine reaction has occurred. Also, ask for the rabies pocket insert next time and read it before you get the shot. Glad you are ok. Shot in the finger??? I have never heard that before. Where do they do it? At the tip or vein? Making my hands feel all shaky just thinking about it lol
Back in canada and the vaccinations are safe during pregnancy. I had to get 4 shots yesterday.. One in each butt cheek, one in finger and one in arm. I have to go back Thursday then day 14 and day 28 it *****! Glad I'm safe though.
Wow! That's must be scary! Not sure about it. Glad you are going back home so they will sort you out :) let us know what yhe doctor say.
