I have a 2 year old.. He will be 3 at the end of January.  I am having such a hard time potty training him. Help!! I have 2 oldest boys but it was not this hard with them. I want to have him fully trained before my baby arrives in February. Any tips would be so helpful.

Thank you ladies. I will definitely try everything. He tells me sometimes that he has to use the toilet but not always. He always tells me he has to do number 2 and he sits on the toilet for a while and nothing but as soon as he gets off the toilet he goes in his underwear.  I do not punish him. I feel that with punishment he will take longer to learn.

Do you have tiles or something? Or carpet? The best way is for them to reassociate a feeling with an action. Best way is for them to "see" it, so nappy and bottoms free and just clean up the mess and explain it goes in potty when you're cleaning it. It's a slow progress for some kids to reassociate but punishment is never a good thing with TT

I've read that the toddler will learn when she or He is ready sometimes letting him see his dad or brothers peeing in the toilet hell think it cool and wanna do it that's what happend with my cousins my aunt didn't really have to teach them after her first baby he would do it infrount of them and they catch on
