2D Ultrasound Pictures

Yesterday afternoon i went and got my weight scan done (ftm 37 weeks 6 days). My doctor captured an image of one of my daughter's ears, and it was huge! I am shocked at how big her ear appeared because me neither my husband have big ears. I am wondering if thid has ever happened to any of you and if ultrasounds are an exact image of what babies come out to look like.

@Haleyg15 have you looked into positions you can practice regularly to turn her around? Is she your first? I apologize greatly for that, i know a c section isnt any womans dream especially with the recovery time afterwards. But whats best for mom and baby. Hopefully you go into labor and she just turns before its time to push. She's a sweetie. Still wants to be close to your heart...that's how i think of breech babies. But as for my daughter's ear, thank you. Im tiny and shes estimated at about 6 and 1/2 lbs and I'm thinking if her ear is that big on such a tiny baby lol im just shocked. But thank you for reassuring me

I have been doing half squats and trying to move her around but she still moves back to my ribs

It shouldn't be to an exact scale. Remember your baby is actually tiny compared to how it comes on the monitor. My doctor had to do a ultrasound because my girl is breeched. Her head is staying by my ribs, and she should have been head down by now. Im 37 weeks 5 days and if she doesnt flip within a week or two then a c section is the only way she will be born. But my husband made me laugh because he said that the baby has a huge head, but she looks tiny to me
