Membrane sweep done today.

I'm 39 wks today and had a cervix check. I'm completely thin and almost 2cm, the Dr strip my membrane and my mucus plug was on his glove. Iv been cramping every since he's done it and as soon as I got home I passed a big clot of blood. I'm a ftm so I called the office to make sure this was normal and it is. Iv heard alot of story's about mom's going into labor within the next day & I'm hoping so. Good luck to you ladies.

Yea, as soon as it was stripped I lost my mucus plug. Contractions started the next day.

Had my membrane strip and lost mucus plug next day then went into labor right after

Had my membrane sweep during the day went into labor at 330 am the next day. Be prepared it could happen quick!!

I had mine done on Wednesday and just lost my plug today but nothing else. I am scheduled to be induced on Tuesday so not sure which will happen first

I had my membranes stripped when I was 38 weeks. I'm now 40 weeks and did it again yesterday. I had some cramping and little bleeding. I hope the baby will come really soon.
