12 wk U/S and nuchal testing

Alright, I have been away from here for about a week. Been away on business and just haven't had time to sign on. Today was my 12 week appt. We had an ultrasound and blood tests done. Doc said we will review results on my next appt, which is July 28th. However, he did say the results from the ultrasound look good. I have all kinds of great pics too. Just need to get them scanned in and posted. Will let you know when I get them up. We have a couple that are full body profile, legs, arms, hands, feet, etc. Our little beanie is growing so big. We have gone from a 7.7 cm sized uterus to a 15.7 cm sized uterus and baby is a little over 5 cm's long! We didn't hear the heartbeat today, but rather saw the heart pumping in the chest. Last time it was like a flutter and this time the little heart was really beating. Our HB was 167, good and strong and right in line with what my doppler reads. He was really active too waving hands and looked like he might have been sucking on his thumb.

Don't feel bad, this isn't my first "rodeo". With my first I didn't get much info. Now I just know what to ask. I am also quite anal this time after m/c'ing twice. I want to make sure everything is measuring good. I just posted my u/s pics too.

I feel like an idiot. My Dr. has yet to give me any measurements or anything!!

I get kindof upset when I read other posts on here b/c I feel like evreyone else gets A LOT more info. than I do. I am going to ask on my next appt. Thursday. I have had 2 u/s Both transvaginal.. Hopefully I can have a normal u/s soon! =)   I did get to see the baby moving all around, but the heartbeat was a "flutter."  Congrats on getting to see your lil one move all around. I thought that was really neat!

Yes mine is next week..but they didn't mention anything about drinking water...
The note in the appointment however said to abstain from intercourse / douching 48 hrs before the appnt. So I was assuming that it might be transvag one. But I am 12w today... (11w 5d as per Dr) so not sure what to expect. I'll surely go full bladder. If there's a probelm..I can always empty it !!

This one was external, my last was transvag. I noticed in another post you said yours was coming up next week. They will probably do external as long as you are past 10 weeks. Did they tell you to drink 32 ozs of water 30 minutes before the exam? If so then definitely external.

WOW..thats so cool... so see the little one waving and sucking his/her thumb:). Am glad all is okie.Do post pics when u get a chance. It so much fun to see the transition ...:))
Did u have a Transvag U/S or was it an external one?
