Back from Neucal test
Well thank you for your Healthy Baby Vibes - they worked! Baby's neual fold was perfect and was measuring exactly 11w3d heartbeat was 164 and i got to see the feet, elbows, hands - everything. it was funny b/c i had my daughter with me and she was wathching the t.v. monitor and kept yelling Barney at the screen. All my blood work from my last visit came back good except i have no immunity for Fifths' Disease. But the doctor said not to worry about it. I actually gained a pound and have to go back on 7/23 for another d/a and they will then schedule another u/s for me so i might actually know the sex before my 20 week u/s! Thanks again for all your well wishes!!

How long did the Nuchal U/S last? I have mine on July 8th..so really anxious . I just did the blood work for first screening today...so we'll wait and watch!!

Did the screen look purple, is this where the Barney comment came from. Just wondering? How odd, kids are soo very cute. So, glad to hear everything went well.
Kash12 - the stest lasted about 25 minutes or so. Then they ***** your finger and dab it on this paper and send it to a lab. I think its called the maternal triple screen. My little one was sleeping so they made me keep coughing alot to wake it up and it rolled over and put it's hand on it's head like leave me alone. It was funny. Good Luck on the 8th!!

I went for my test last Friday and they couldn't get a good reading because the baby was bouncing around way to much. I have to go back this Friday. I'll be 41 at delivery so I'm very nervous with my results. I'm just trying to stay positive and just pray all the time.
